The Climate Change and Adaptation Coordination Board will convene in Ankara under the chairmanship of Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum.
The Board, which convenes twice a year to set, monitor, and assess plans, policies, strategies, and actions related to climate change, is expected to take a number of key decisions at this year’s meeting.
Hosted by the Directorate of Climate Change, the meeting will focus primarily on consultations and institutional assessments concerning Türkiye’s Second Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), while also addressing action plans aimed at strengthening the fight against climate change.
The Climate Change and Adaptation Coordination Council Meeting, to be held tomorrow in Ankara under the chairmanship of Minister Murat Kurum, will bring together a broad range of relevant ministries and institutions.
