Fatma Varank

She was born on 17.01.1972 in Zonguldak (Originally Trabzon). She graduated from Trakya University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Architecture.

She worked as the Project Manager in the Construction of 18.000 houses in KİPTAŞ, which is affiliated to Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, between 1995-2001.

She worked as the Deputy Manager in the Construction project of 30.000 houses by Emlak Konut GYO A.Ş., which is the biggest Real Estate Investment Trust Company in Turkey, between 2003 – 2009.

She worked as a Specialist in İstanbul Sulukule Urban Transformation Project of TOKİ between 2009-2011.

She held the office as the Deputy General Manager of Spatial Planning in the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization between 2011-2015.

She has been working as the Vice Minister in the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization since 23rd July, 2018.
