A high-level delegation from the Libyan National Meteorological Centre (LNMC) visited the Directorate of Climate Change for a series of briefings on Türkiye’s national climate policies.
The meeting focused on Türkiye’s Updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and the 2024–2030 Climate Change Mitigation Strategy—the primary roadmap for achieving these targets—while highlighting Türkiye’s strategic position in international climate negotiations.
Turkish officials shared technical insights into legislative frameworks for carbon capture and hydrogen technologies, alongside a broader overview of the country’s ongoing climate initiatives.
The two delegations also consulted on future collaborative efforts and potential joint projects aimed at strengthening bilateral climate resilience.
