The inaugural session of the Information Days for the EU-Türkiye Climate Change Grant Program (EU-TR CCGP) was held in Ankara on Monday, November 4.
Marking the first of twelve sessions—to be conducted both physically and online—aimed at promoting the EU-Türkiye Climate Change Grant Program, which is co-financed by the Republic of Türkiye and the European Union, the event was organized in Ankara on November 4.
In his opening remarks, Deputy Director of Climate Change Orhan Solak emphasized the increasing frequency and severity of extreme weather events and their localized impacts. He further highlighted the strategic importance of the grant program in the broader fight against climate change. The next meeting for the Grant Program Information Days will take place in Izmir.
Information sessions in Istanbul and Antalya will follow a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend in person or connect virtually.
Exclusively online meetings will be held on specific dates for those who prefer remote participation, with all relevat times and dates listed in the registration form.
If a session reaches its capacity, applicants will be directed to the next available meeting.
