The Directorate of Climate Change, with the support of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), held the “F-Gas Leak Control Practices Training” and the “Training on Good Practices in the HVAC-R Sector” in Bursa.
Organized by the Department of Monitoring of Greenhouse Gas Emissions for operating managers and technical staff of industrial zones, the training aimed to equip participants with up-to-date knowledge of current legislation on fluorinated greenhouse gases, as well as technical issues such as leak control practices, certification procedures, and obligations related to EKOMVET.
In the hands-on training delivered to technical personnel working in the sector, topics such as the vapor-compression refrigeration cycle and service practices related to leak-tightness were addressed.
Participants were also provided with comprehensive information on regulations governing fluorinated greenhouse gases, certification requirements, the EKOMVET database, and TSE service adequacy and MYK certification.
The training was attended by Volkan Polat, Head the Monitoring of Greenhouse Gas Emissions Department, experts from the Directorate of Climate Change, operating managers of industrial zones, and technical staff.
