The Directorate of Climate Change celebrated “World Ozone Day” together with children, as part of the annual events held across the country.
Jointly organized by the Directorate of Climate Change and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the program was attended by students from local primary schools.
Designed to raise awareness among children about protecting the ozone layer and strengthening environmental consciousness, the event featured a series of age-appropriate activities and interactive programs.
The Hatay event was attended by Volkan Polat, Head of the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Monitoring Department.
Following the opening remarks, students enthusiastically watched animated productions, as well as Keloğlan, Hacivat, and Karagöz performances prepared to raise awareness about protecting the environment and the ozone layer.
The program concluded after storytelling and art workshops designed to foster awareness of climate change and ozone layer protection.
