Prof. Halil Hasar, Director of Climate Change, visited Prof. Orhan Aydın, President of TÜBİTAK (Scientific and technological research council of Türkiye).

During the courtesy visit, Director Hasar congratulated President Aydın on his recent appointment and conveyed his best wishes.

Emphasizing that TÜBİTAK is a vital institution for the future of science and technology in Türkiye, Director Hasar highlighted the ongoing collaborative projects between the Directorate of Climate Change and TÜBİTAK.

Director Hasar also touched upon the synergy between the two institutions, stating that continued cooperation on various future projects would be highly beneficial for Türkiye.

Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, TÜBİTAK President Aydın noted that the Directorate of Climate Change will gain even more importance in a changing world and expressed his appreciation for the Directorate’s use of TÜBİTAK’s high-tech computing resources for its studies and sensitive measurements.
