Türkiye will jointly assume the rotating leadership of the Climate Club with Germany.

The Climate Club, an intergovernmental initiative working to accelerate industrial decarbonization, strengthen the circular economy, and promote green growth, has announced its leadership for the new term.

Positioned as an open, inclusive, and ambitious high-level cooperation platform, the Climate Club seeks to accelerate climate action—particularly emission reductions in industry—and will be co-chaired by Türkiye and Germany during the upcoming term.

Through this joint chairmanship, the two countries aim to inject fresh momentum into global climate action in line with the objectives of the Paris Agreement.

Aligned with Türkiye’s goal of hosting COP31, this process is expected to reinforce the country’s role in international climate diplomacy while making its industrial transformation agenda more visible on the global stage.

In the new term, priorities will include expanding cooperation on climate policies, especially industrial decarbonization, sharing good practices, and developing joint solutions among member countries.

Türkiye will be represented in the joint leadership by Deputy Director of Climate Change Dr. Tuğba Dinçbaş.

Within this framework, Türkiye will contribute to the development of joint initiatives under the Climate Club and to strengthening effective coordination among participating countries.
